       This week Bella and I have been working on Easter projects. She has had fun painting, putting together scenes, making caterpillars and more! We still have a few more things to accomplish before Easter gets here!

       We were able to incorporate her flower she made with Meme into one of her bunny projects!  She was so excited! She made special projects for Mommy/Daddy, Uncle DanDan, Meme/Pappy, Grandma Betty, Nanny and Judy!

                                                         Today my sweet mother-in-law came by to have lunch with Bella and me. She wanted to bring some fresh veggies, dip, and have a picnic for my birthday. Since it was chilly outside we spread a blanket in the family room and started to set all our things out for our picnic.  Bella was excited to have a picnic with her great grandma and couldn't wait to see what she had brought.  We sat down and Betty uncovered her veggie platter.    Okay...this is when we started laughing so much I wasn't sure if Betty and I would recover. Betty had fresh carrots, cucumbers, and celery, but she had steamed the cauliflower and broccoli. (Never a good combination! LOL!) So when she uncovered the platter Bella immediately covered her nose and almost gagged.."OMGOSH!!! WHAT IS THAT SMELL?? " She backed away from the food trying not to gag.  Between our laughing I tried to explain that it is cauliflower.. "Why did she bring stink flowers?? They are terrible!!" "Don't eat 'em Grammy they stink!!!"  Betty moved the platter to the other side of the blanket! We put sliced oranges in front of Bella.."These oranges are much better then stink flowers! They made my nose run..I think I have the allergies to stink flowers!"   Needless to say it won't be a picnic Bella will forget anytime soon!!

Black Jaguar

Awhile back I found a beautiful charcoal coat and hat for Bella. She just wouldn't wear it..tried everything...she was ready to give it to someone else to wear!! Well...today she wanted to be a jaguar again so we got out all her jaguar print outfits and I asked her if she knew that jaguars were sometimes black.  "Because why?"  Because sometimes they just are.  So I showed her pictures...she thought they were pretty awesome. I told her she could be a black jaguar today but to do that she would have to wear her black coat. Sneaky Grammy! But it worked!! 

Her stuffy nose was much better today...thank goodness! Hate when she is not feeling well!

We played a "guess what card I have" game today..she hasn't quite gotten the concept down...We put the card on our forehead and I said.."Okay yours is the color of trees and is shaped like a ball"!..She hollers "green circle!"  "Great!! Now your turn, give me clues"...and I told her to give me clues....she says..."Well..it's blue and a circle and there is a bunny!" She was right but it sort of ruined my guess! LOL!

"Are you, Are you..coming to the tree...."

Wednesday was "sunshine and swing" day!  We kicked a ball around the yard and Bella ran laps in the driveway (four times!) After a slight swinging set-back ("Push me way high!!"....oops...not the first time though...she forgot what swinging was like!) But once she recovered from being scared it was non-stop swinging...for an hour!! Then over an hour later in the day!  My arms got a great workout!!  Speaking of workouts...Bella showed me how her Daddy and Mommy do exercises!

Thursday was another great day so we headed to the Zoo. Bella wandered all over the place, wore her mask to keep all those pesky germs away, rode the train and carousel. She said the jaguar was talking to her because she wore jaguar clothes today! Such a cutie!

Today when she was ready for her nap she wanted me to rub her hair and forehead and she wanted to hear "The Hanging Tree" from "The Mockingjay".  She quietly sang herself to sleep singing "are you are you coming to the tree...."   Just one of those moments to cherish!

Conversations with Bella are so interesting!  "Because why?" is her favorite comeback to anything she isn't sure about.  She stayed home with Daddy on Wednesday and they watched several "Planet of the Apes" movies. Thursday all she did was talk about the various movies...and of course we had to watch a couple of the movies again.  She doesn't forget ANYTHING!!

She and I practiced boxing this week..she loves "upper cuts" best! I think I need to get her her own set of boxing gloves! We also jumped this week... a lot!  Jumping is great for her lungs..so we bunny hopped all over the place! She would lay on the floor after jumping and state .." I need a nap!"  Today she jumped 150 times on her indoor trampoline!! I love that she enjoys it..her outside time is limited and this time of year sunny, warm, non-windy days are few and far between. So having her indoor trampoline is awesome!

She has several games on my phone..today when we were driving home I thought she was playing her game..but she was taking selfies!! And she took pictures of me when I asked her what she was doing!

Today Bella was singing and making up songs...I couldn't stop laughing. We had watched part of  "New Moon" and she was singing about her "boyfriend that doesn't love her anymore"..how he "went away to protect me so I won't get hurt but I got hurt anyway and  I still love him".."he gets shiny outside"...LOL!!!  She was on a roll!!!
