Super Bowl Weekend Coming Up

Bella has two Valentine's projects we will be finishing up in the next couple days!   She will be spending the night Saturday! Love it when she stays over!! She's been talking about it since Wednesday! We will be making dessert on Saturday night for Super Bowl Sunday!  Bella is very excited about the Super Bowl...she wants to see Katy Perry during half-time!!

We took advantage of a warm day (76 degrees on Wednesday!) and played outside with the driveway chalk. Bella wore her mask due to the wind. I hate that we get a warm day but the wind is always blowing! But we had fun anyway!  Bella played in her truck ...she hasn't quite gotten up the nerve to actually try driving it yet, but she sure loves climbing in and out and hollering for "everyone get out of the way!" She turns it on and honks the horn.  She'll eventually try driving it. (And then I'll be jogging all over the place keeping up with her!)  The rest of the week is going to be too cold for her to be outside so we will find lots of things to do inside.

Papa was home today working up in the office so Bella wanted to bring him lunch because "Papa working so hard today!" So a quick run through Whataburger and we all got to have lunch together.  Papa likes to change out which guitar he has downstairs...every time he changes one out Bella notices (She even notices if he has a different pick!)..so today when we got home she went immediately into our bedroom to see if Papa had changed out his guitars...he had...she smiled. It's the little things that matter!  ;)

Back To Normal

Thank goodness...everyone has almost recovered from sinus issues, flu, etc!

This week we started our Great Strides 2015 campaign.  Bella helped me finish her video and her CF Hero Bio was published.  She likes the music in her video!  Two days ago the CF community  lost a 14 year old boy that gained his Angel Wings and lost his battle to this evil disease.. 14 years old...too young.  There must be a cure found.  These kids (and all those with Cystic Fibrosis) deserve a long healthy life.

Bella decided that she would be Merida today so we have been hunting bears! It's always something! LOL.
She also wanted lip gloss and pictures so I agreed!

Marathon

Bella and I will be hanging out all week together.  She is fighting a head cold still...LOTS of nasal congestion. Thank goodness her lungs have stayed clear!!  She continues to run a low grade temp so we know she is fighting something!  Hopefully lots of sleep, fluids and Tylenol will continue to keep her feeling pretty good. The Clinic suggested some Afrin spray for her nose so we will be trying that. There is a great deal of viruses (flu, coughs and colds) going around. It is so hard to keep her clear of them..we know we can't keep her in a bubble, but we do our best to keep her away from others that are sick.  We all get a little nervous when she gets sick. (CF Sucks...it has turned us all into paranoid germ fighters)

She has discovered that "Harry Potter" really is a fun movie series to watch...but of course she must "BE" Harry!  So luckily I found an old pair of sunglasses in black frames...quick removal of the lenses and we had "Harry" glasses!  I sacrificed a wooden spoon (coloring it black) and we had a magic wand!  A quick "scar" drawn on her forehead and wha-la we have "Harry"!! We have been watching an HP movie each day ..we are having a "Harry Potter" marathon..and she is loving it!   When she woke up from her nap she had to immediately put on her "Harry" glasses!!  She amazes me and cracks me up at the same time!  (But she also wants to watch "Godzilla"...even brought her stuffed Godzilla... I'm not too sure I will know how to turn her into Godzilla!  LOL!

Precious Moments

It was a long week...flu gone, bronchitis cleared and  finally Wednesday arrived and I was so glad!!  Today the Precious and I made up for lost time!!  We baked mini-cupcakes in her Easy Bake Oven, watched the birds and kitten, and watched and "flew"

I introduced Bella to "Leslie Gore" today. Bella loves her!  We sang "It's My Party", "Judy's Turn to Cry", and several other songs.  We danced and sang and jumped around being silly!  It was great!

We also played "Heads Up".  Bella would hold the phone to her head and I tried to get her to guess the answer..she actually did very well and certainly knows how to flip the phone to the next word!

I missed her last week. Nap time today was total snuggle time!

Welcome 2015

2015...Wow!  Another year has come and gone!   2014 ended with me having the flu so I have stayed away from the Precious.  It will be 10 days without seeing her when I finally get to be with her on Wednesday. TEN DAYS!!!!! I miss her..I miss my play buddy..I miss my Bella hugs...NOT the way I wanted 2015 to start out!!  BUT...her health is more important then me missing her and I wouldn't have it any other way.

So until I get to hold her and hug her I will just look at pictures and count down to Wednesday! Love you Precious..Grammy will see you soon!
